As a Strategy & Innovation Designer, you will help organizations transform complex challenges into actionable strategies, services, ventures, programs, and innovation opportunities.
This role sits at the intersection of strategy, design, systems thinking, and organizational transformation. You will work with clients and internal teams to identify opportunity spaces, design future-oriented interventions, prototype new ideas, and translate strategic thinking into practical implementation pathways.
The role is ideal for someone who enjoys moving from ambiguity to action — combining analytical thinking with creativity, facilitation, experimentation, and strategic execution.

Innovation Strategy & Solution Design
- Translate research insights, market shifts, and organizational challenges into strategic innovation opportunities, future-oriented concepts, services, programs, and ecosystem interventions.
- Design human-centered experiences, systems, workflows, and strategic solutions that align organizational goals with stakeholder needs.
- Develop innovation roadmaps, strategic frameworks, prototypes, and implementation pathways that help organizations move from ideas to action.

- Work closely with researchers, strategists, designers, technologists, and clients across multidisciplinary initiatives.
- Facilitate workshops, innovation labs, stakeholder engagements, and co-design sessions that help teams navigate ambiguity and align around transformation priorities.
- Contribute to strategic storytelling, proposal development, presentations, and collaborative innovation processes.
Prototyping, Experimentation & Implementation
- Translate abstract ideas into testable concepts, pilots, and implementation-ready models.
- Design feedback and iteration processes that improve solutions over time while balancing creativity, scalability, operational feasibility, and real-world constraints.
- Contribute to building reusable innovation methodologies, frameworks, and tools within ERGO.

You likely bring:
You may come from backgrounds such as strategic design, business innovation, service design, entrepreneurship, innovation consulting, organizational transformation, public innovation, or interdisciplinary design.

- Experience contributing to innovation, strategy, design, transformation, or venture-building projects in complex organizational or societal contexts.
- Ability to move between research, strategy, ideation, facilitation, and execution while maintaining a strong user- and stakeholder-centered perspective.
- Comfort working in ambiguity and structuring unclear problems into actionable pathways and tangible interventions.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders across sectors and disciplines.
- A builder mindset: someone who enjoys creating frameworks, concepts, prototypes, systems, and new ways of working.
- Curiosity about emerging futures, systems change, and the evolving relationship between technology, society, education, work, and innovation.
